About
Hi! I am Joerg Michael, an old guy who has been working in the world of Lotus Notes and Domino for well over a decade.
So well over a decade that I fondly remember copying the brand-new diskettes of Lotus Notes 3.0c for an important customer as one of my tasks working for my first employer in the Notes field. It was quite a show when we set up our new Notes server: a Compaq Proliant 1500 with a 60 MHz Pentium and 32 MB RAM, running OS/2 2.something. In our offices, we had Token Ring exclusively. Our server talked to other servers at other company locations and to customers' servers via ISDN.
Yes, I am that old. I am also married to the best wife and have two wonderful kids.
If you want the long version of how I got into working with Lotus Notes go ahead, read all about it.
